This bed is really, really gorgeous! So solid and obvious it is not assembly line. The caveats- some off the hardware was slightly off so needed to be ‘convinced’, some small areas not completely stained ( furniture pen there), and despite search filter - this is NOT a platform bed. You will need to add slats if you want to forgo the box spring. Although the slats provided are larger than most beds, we did add 4 to be safe-used oak so it is extremely solid. Looked EVERYWHERE for a twin with a decent height footboard and this fit the bill.., why they are all so short- beats me.
