This thing is a beast. The company that makes it usually sells it for over $1000. This is the place to buy. The instructions weren't crystal clear but we got the hang of it. There were a couple of random springs with no instructions as to what to do with them. AI came in handy. There was one piece of metal that was slightly bent and prevented the top grate from sliding in but it was easily remedied with a mallet. It is precisely 30dx40w without the skirt. I'm not impressed with the wooden dowels and am ordering other types of perches to install. For this price those tiny little side issues were totally worth it. Zazoo turns 25 this year, and we wanted a more affordable cage incase he is near the end of his lifespan. We hope he’ll like his new home. He quickly explored the inside and outside of the cage, treats and water from the new bowls and perch, and enjoyed sittling like a king on the perch stretched in the Victorian top opening. Nice sturdy heavy cage just as discribed but not exactly what I expected. It is pretty but the bars are thicker than our previous cage so it's harder to see the birds. It only has 1 actual access opening so not convient to move things around in the cage. Other 3 openings are for changing food & water out. This is very common for many cages but my birds are not tamed and I do not have a bird room. I love how convenient it is to clean the cage with the pull out grid and the metal tray. Much better than grid inside cage and staticy plastic tray. The cons are some parts are slightly off and the bottom catcher comes apart. It’s a nice cage. It’s bigger than I expected. The cage pull out base bottom was cracked. I super glued it..the hassle to return didn’t seem worth it.
