This dehumidifier works amazing! We had a humidity issue in our house and this fixed it. This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. The hose in the back is small. Our old one had a bigger hose and would still get clogged up so I'm concerned about that, but so far it hasn't been a problem. Overall, I'm glad we got it.. Michelle. Very happy with this purchase. For a dual hose air conditioner I think this is a good middle of the road option for places like where I live (nor cal) where humidity is not an issue. I did try to use a hose attachment which wasn’t readily available for this unit and it did leak. However the bottom drain works perfectly. The caveat with this machine is that you absolutely cannot lose the remote otherwise you cannot operate the unit. You can only turn on and off from the main unit but no operation.
