This Trinsic rough-in kit may be installed prior to choosing the specific trim and finish. Allows for construction or a renovation project to proceed without delays when narrowing down a design style. The Trinsic trim kit is sold separately and is required to complete the unit. MultiChoice Universal Tub / Shower Rough - Universal Inlets / Outlets

I had the R10000-UNBXHF valve body (in conjuction with the T17038-SS Lahara 17 series valve trim) installed 16 months ago and the shower head is now dripping when the valve is turned fully in the off position. The rough-in valve can be installed in any direction as long as the bathtub center line is aligned with one of the six screws on the plaster guard. The plaster guard has a flat top for easy leveling in installation to ensure the trim will be standing straight after installation.
