Slate is a durable material for both interior and exterior use. We quarry this material from the mountains and riverbeds of Northern China. In order to maintain the popular outside-in look, our tiles and mosaics come in either a natural cleft or tumbled finish. This material requires very little maintenance and is extremely resilient.

Gorgeous tile, exactly as described. I ordered half full-price and half "open box." Unfortunately, the open box pieces were broken upon arrival so I had to re-order more of the full-price pieces, but it's totally worth it. The tile was wrapped and boxed very securely with only one broken tile out of the 120 tiles. The lot was the same for all 5 boxes (important).
