It’s a nice looking rug and covers a large area! Feels soft underfoot and it’s thicker than the rug I had here before. I put it on top of a 14 inch rug pad and it’s nice and cushy. You’re not going to trick anyone into thinking it’s wool… while soft, you do detect a bit of a plasticky feel. There is a synthetic odor, but it’s not too strong and I expect it to offgas pretty quickly. Anonymous. Wed Oct 28 2026

Even More Beautiful in Person — Soft, High-Quality Perfect for a Cozy Home This Martha Stewart Oriental rug is absolutely gorgeous in person. The colors are soft and beautifully blended, and they work perfectly with the rustic farmhouse decor throughout my home. It has that slightly vintage, muted look I was hoping for without looking faded or dull. What impressed me most is how soft it feels underfoot. The material feels noticeably high quality, and the rug looks much more expensive than I expected once it was actually in the room. The pattern adds character without being too busy, which makes it easy to decorate around. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this rug. It gave the room a warmer, more finished look immediately, and it feels just as nice as it looks. Definitely a rug I would recommend if you want something elegant, cozy, and versatile without overpowering your space. Natasha. NJ. Sun Aug 30 2026

This interpretation, created by skilled Tibetan artisans, is hand-knotted of silk and wool into a subtle tonal design that is both natural and chic. The texture of wood grain is created using a loop construction in intricate designs.

Really beautiful rug that's soft on the feet. It does not have a stiff backing so it can bunch a little if there's no nonslip pad underneath. I just got it and have not seen the shedding others talked about, but it is interesting in that from the long side, you can clearly see cream and tan stripes, but from the short side, it looks the same..
