Generally, one does not describe wine decanters as adorable but that is the adjective that comes to mind with the first glance at Vagabond House's Duck Wine Decanter. A clear glass body shows off the beauty of your wine while the pewter spout and handle create the impression of a waddling duck.

Sensuous curves and bold features stand out at the table.

A labor of love, the Bliss decanter displays a rotund foundation with an off-center heart stamped from each side, compressing the crystal into a thin pane of solid glass. This innovative design forces the wine to pool around the elements while providing a place for the fingers to rest as the wine flows out of the decanter into a waiting glass. This heartwarming decanter is mouthblown and formed by hand, making each a unique work of art. Like the rest of the Black Tie collection, Bliss is dressed up with a black tuxedo stripe that extends gracefully from top to bottom. This is achieved by introducing a rod of black crystal into the molten glass before the decanter has been formed.

The decanter was gorgeous. However, the one in the photo on the website has a red stripe down the center of the black stripe. The one I received did not have a red stripe and therefore I returned it. The return process was seamless. Customer service was amazing, Caroline helped me and did a fantastic job communicating.. Anonymous. Mon Oct 14 2024

Handmade one at a time by artisans using century-old pressed glass techniques. The first known reference to these glasses known as “small spikes” is from Portugal and goes back to 1901. It is fascinating how a century-old design remains to this day so fashionable.

Packaged well and arrived quickly. It is a beautiful Decanter! My granddaughter loved it!. Brenda. The Woodlands, TX. Sat Mar 21 2026

The machine-made decanter distinguishes by its elegant and complex design. The whole-heartedly believes all wines - young and old, red, white, or sparkling - can be enhanced by decanting. Decanting old wines, just a few moments before they are served helps to ensure that the clarity and brilliance of the wine are not obscured by any deposit that may have developed over time. Decanting young wines several hours before they are served gives the wine a chance to bloom and attain a stage of development that normally requires years of aging.

I would like to experience more red wine, and a decanter is a perfect way to share the experience with friends. This decanter is absolutely gorgeous, everything you come to expect from Riedel in design and quality. It is both solid yet delicate, and the glass is beautifully clear with no imperfections. Shipping materials were great to ensure a large glass item like this arrives without issue.. Kimberly. Fredericksburg, VA. Wed May 24 2023
