Thais entertainmentbook shelf unit came in 4 huge heavy boxes. Thank goodness my husband had help from my visiting daughter otherwise we would have never gotten them in the house. Hubby opened the first box, hoping to find directions and hardware. We finally found them in box 3. If you like hardware, you will love putting this unit together. My husband discovers all boxes have pieces that go with each aspect of the unit so we would not have room in our living room for assembly. While moving box one down the stairs leading into the garage, my husband pulled his back out. The box landed safely. My daughter and I managed to get to the kitchen. Works perfectly for our needs! We have an odd alcove between the kitchen and dining room and needed something to give extra storage. This fit the space perfectly! The hardest part of the building process is attaching the back panel. So many little brackets to hammer in the correct angel otherwise the nails will pop through. I feel like you can’t get any better for the price! To me, it looks high quality but it’s just particle board. The door hardware is really cheap plastic so I’ll probably replace those. The door hinges are adjustable but we couldn’t really decrease the spaces you can see between the doors, maybe it’s an us problem though. I would have liked soft close cabinets but again overall for the price I am really very happy and impressed.
