I have posted a “before” photo. “After” photo coming! We bought these lights to replace our old, outdated, mismatched track lighting (shown in photo). Because they are going on a second floor ceiling, which is vaulted and might be 24 feet high. We have to have our electricians come out to install these. Otherwise it would be very easy for my husband to install these if it was only on a regular height ceiling. We really love the look of these. They will be much more modern sleek and design and all matching. We purchased the white set and I think it’s going to really enhance our living room. I love the fact that you can position them to Spotlight art or other things on the wall or plants we love the fact that they’re LEDs so we never have to change a lightbulb after photo coming soon.. I got this with the mindset that it would be much larger width wise as well as length wise but this is a very lightweight product. It was easy to install and I didn’t have enough bulbs for the all lights but what I did have looked amazing and worked great for what I needed. The “arms” are very versatile in movement and I believe the bulbs can be moved 180*. Love how the arms can move to aim the light where I need it. It blends in with the white ceiling nicely and is inobtrusive. Hereʻs a trick to put in the bulbs, donʻt use the little suction cup they send you, instead, I used blue tape! Any tape will do, but the blue tape just comes off easy. You put each end of a piece of tape onto opposite sides of the bulb, then fold the middle part of it back to make a little handle tab, it then holds the bulb exactly where it need to be, and you can twist it into place! Nice design, puts out a good amount of light. Directions a little thin, but ok for anyone who has changed a light fixture before. The adjustable wire for the free side (side opposite the outlet) probably needs to be trimmed--but nothing says this should be done. The screw that anchors the free end can go directly into the ceiling drywall anywhere--doesn't need to be drilled into wood. Two people needed to mount it and get the angles right. I used MR16 GU10 Dimmable 15,000-Hour LED Light Bulb 2700K in Soft White, and the light is crisp and warm enough (not as warm as halogen, of course, but they run cool by comparison). The specs said it needs a transformer--it doesn't just a standard 120V outlet. I am very happy with this product, just need to put in a dimmer.... Lorren. Mon Jul 01 2024
