It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place.. Wow, these chairs are nice! I was surprised by the nice, solid wood components and large lag bolts. Webbing is also done very well and should last a long, long time. These chairs are fantastic! They are extremely comfortable and one of our favorite features is how quickly they dry after rain. Most of the time they’re dry almost instantly, and if not, a quick wipe with a towel is all it takes. Cleanup is effortless, and they look great on our patio.
