I wish furniture manufacturers would stop to consider that not every piece of furniture is going to be put against a wall, so it would be nice to have a decent backing. My issue is with Wayfair for not posting pictures of all of the colors. We ordered the smokey blue oak expecting a blue gray. It's definitely more light blue. We'll make it work--again, it's a top-notch piece of furniture. But I am super bummed about the color and wish we had ordered the medium oak instead. Overall happy with bookcase as it serves it's purpose. Nice and heavy but there in lies a problem as it ships in 1 package. Packaging looked very rough and delivered with a corner damaged. FedEx driver warned me it was unusually heavy and helped me carry it into house. Luckily you can't see the damage as it's on bottom unless you're looking for it. Nitpicking wise the top trim piece does not line up flush and isn't adjustable as guide piece is glued on so it sits a little crooked on top. Again overall happy with product, would buy again..
