I was very hesitant to purchase this. For me, this is an expensive item. But I have to say right up front - it was worth it! First things first, you may need the jaws of life to open the packaging. It was that well packed. I’ve literally never seen flat packed furniture so well packed in my life. So there shouldn’t be any worry about it arriving damaged. Second, they said “solid wood” and they meant it. There’s not one piece of mdf in this thing. Literally the only thing I could complain about is the choice of pulls. I don’t like them. But that’s just my taste. There is nothing wrong with them. And they are so easy to replace. At the end of the day, would I buy this again? Yes. Without hesitation. Both the directions and holes predrilled were fairly easy to assemble. Due to the size it came in 3 sections but once the first was assembled it went much faster. We are pleased with armoire as far as the way it looks but the lack of the 5th star in the rating was simply due to the material in the outer pieces. loved the final assembly piece but I believe the predrilled holes for the adjustable bars could have been place further back closer to the wall. seems the way they are it leaves a lot of free space behind the clothes hung. my system was large and required two men to work on it. the younger of the two men -Phillip_ was constantly boasting about himself but come down to working his partner is by far much more thorough. Phil left earlier than his partner Ed who ended up correcting much of what Phil left undone.. I am disappointed in Angi as these guys are mostly present to give you their card for any future jobs we may have at "at a cheaper rate than Angi". It came in six boxes and building it was a bit of a daunting task, but it was definitely worth it! It looks great and has made the room feel so much more organized. I was a bit overwhelmed by all of the boxes, so in case anyone else has a bit of building anxiety - they are two separate cabinet units that you can then latch together so the process can be done in parts if you do not have a full day to dedicate to putting it together. There were two sets of three boxes: one that was 1 of 2; one that was 2 of 2; and one that was unlabeled. You can build a functional cabinet set with a 1 of 2 and 2 of 2. The unlabeled box was the smaller top cabinets for that particular set! Also, my electric screwdriver proved to be worth every penny in putting this together. 10/10!! The quality and craftsmanship is amazing. I used this on one wall of my closet and mixed it with another brand on the other 2 walls that had more hanging areas. I was worried about them matching but they match perfect. The system was a bit larger than what we measured for so we used 2 of the “cabinets” on one wall and moved the third into my husbands closet.
