The gauge of the steel is stronger than my old post. Of 25 years. I think the bottom joke should be lower and have a grommet for wire protection it is a challenge to get wiring for outlet and photo sensor and power feed and fixture. Luckily a 3 inch pipe makes it. The cross bar is way too loose in pole holes and is plastic, used to be a good fit metal. Try and get silicone neatly around it to hold in place. Surprisingly, good quality for the price. I love the height of it. Unfortunately, Wayfair’s reputation for delivery is always hit or miss. This delivery was no exception. I always seem to have a damaged box and I expected that there may have been scratches to the post however I got lucky. The quality of the post was quite good and screwed together quite nicely I already had an existing cement foundation for it so I just had to attach to the standard 8 x 8“ mounting brackets.
