We created a workstation for my husband in our unfinished basement by simply painting the walls and adding curtains and doing our own peel and stick tile. We wanted to keep the price down of the desk so we could do all the other things. Overall, we love the look. I do wish counter of the desk wasnt contact paper over Wood. Decent for the price. Lengthy timeframe to assemble. This is a two person assembly. Note that where the two tables join together at the "L" point it is not sturdy because it floats freely without support. The design only uses 2 small, lightweight undermount clips. This should be a light duty desk only. Simply pressing too hard at that L joint will break the desk.
