I am so pleased with the console unit. It took a bit to build but we were prepared from the previous reviews. A little tweaking to get doors level but not too bad. This replaced a big heavy wall unit and in my phase of decluttering my home the storage was great. I was able to fit all of the grandchildren’s toys and games and also my new hobby of coloring with markers and pencils. Just the right size. We ordered the oak color and the finish looks less cheap in person. We all know how this fake wood can look. The ends look worse than the surface, but won’t be super visible for us. Seems sturdy enough to be behind a sofa. We have put together our fair share of furniture and this wasn’t horrible, but not the easiest. Overall impressed and fit where we needed it. Still need to figure out placing decor on top though..
