Ok, so first off I've had this for 2 weeks and first a) the instructions don't show that some panels are cut at an angle (the instructions look as though all line up level) and b) there are literally HUNDREDS of pieces (including screws, washers, cross bars, panels...hydraulics...). So caveat emptor- this will require hours of assembly. Do yourself a favor if you have glasses and print out the instructions in like, 150% magnification. We ordere this Deck Box because we needed a place to store our solar pool cover when not in use. We love that this box can be opened from the top, and also opened in the front. It gives us a nice large space to get this large cover into the box. Assembly of the box was pretty straight forward and the directions were easy to follow. I was able to assemble it by myself other than adding the lid. I needed a second person to hold it in place and apply pressure from behind so the screws would catch. We do not plan to place a lock on this box, but if you need one that can be locked, be sure to pay attention to the latch.
