The SlimKool 8500 CFM Evaporative Cooler is compact in size, pleasing in aesthetics, and its performance exceeds that of coolers of a much larger size. This performance is achieved through higher-performance StayCool cooling media pads and a tri-inlet design that reduces rotation of the air to the fan for better efficiency. This means higher evaporation efficiency and cooler temperatures. The 3-blade polypropylene prop is energy efficient and throws cool air farther. The ASD air oscillating design provides maximum throw from side to side. The structural polypropylene plastic won't rust, is easy to clean, and has a 2-year warranty.

Great little unit got the job done, I used it as a window unit though. I wouldnt recommend if you live in a windy area since the fan is not very strong to counteract the wind. But for the price it was worth it I wasnt going to spend 600 to get a evap window unit. Overall I definitely recommend it or if youre going to keep it inside the home just have a window open to get all the humidity out.. Anonymous. Sat May 16 2026

This is a great option for car rides to keep things cold. We used it for a road trip from Montana to Southern Nevada in JULY. It was hot! The cooler would not stay cold or even cool on the Eco setting- this was in the car was a/c running. Make note of that if you plan on using this in warm, hot, or where it will get direct sun. Once we changed the setting to Max we had no issues keeping it cold. Its a nice size cooler to sit on the back seat for drinks, snacks, or to keep medicine cold.. Stefanie. USA. Fri Sep 04 2026
