This chair is one of a set o two, and having a padded seat which is quite comfortable. I chose this chair not only because it is made from rubber wood, very strong and durable, but it was the perfect size for my needs. The seat height is 18.3 inches from the floor, which makes it easy for me to sit down and get up from. Also, because the width of the chair is only 15.9 inches wide and has a seat depth of 18.7 inches, with an overall height of 36 inches, it can slide under my narrow working table in the kitchen. Although, the chair is small, taking up very little space, and can be used for extra seating in a family room or at a desk, it is strong enough to accommodate 250 pounds.
