The hardware package only has lag bolts for wooden wall or drywall. Homacer sliding barn door hardware kit is compatible with door thickness. If you have thinner or thicker door, please contact Homacer for the correct length of the hex bolts of the hangers, or you can get them from your local hardware store. Please also notify Homacer to put spacer extensions in the package if you have thicker doors. The spacer extension will extend the track further from the wall to fit the thicker door. If you have a door trim, you’d better put a header board that is as thick as the trim and then attach the hardware to the header board. Track is very nice but but because yhe tracks were 13 feet in total it is two 6.5 ft pieces on each rail and where they join is not held together well. One of the section of tracks ended up 1/8" higher than the other side so the door gets 'caught' as that bump for a second. Tried everything to fix but couldn't. Not end of world. Overall its nice. Our office entry way is huge, 84W by 89H, so we needed the largest size door this had to offer. Pro - the doors were super easy to assemble and the material is heavy duty. Con - definitely took 2 people to assemble the rail track and lift the doors, challenging to get the rail perfectly level and studded into the wall securely, I am still slightly concerned we don't have enough reinforcement holding it up with a basic 1x6 headboard as suggested on the instructions.
