It’s a cute vanity and seems well constructed although it did have a very strong chemical smell in the glass cabinet section once it was put together. I paid for the assembly which was a great experience and well worth the extra cost. The Wayfair assembly tech communicated by text before and after the appt, was prompt and had the piece together in 1 hour. I’m certain it would’ve taken me or my husband much, much longer so the time and stress it saved was a win. After the piece was completed, it looked fine, cute actually for my teen’s room but seeing and experiencing the actual functionality was a bit of a let down. The desk portion that sits on topoverlaps on the cabinet portion and isn’t secured in any way so it’s easily moved - whether you want to move it or not. Also the desk portion that overlaps is higher than the cabinet portion which seems obvious now but I somehow didn’t realize that when looking at pictures. Having a surface that’s just slightly different levels is fairly small to begin with is just not ideal for me. Overall it’s fine. These arrived this week and were incredibly well packaged for safe shipping and are very well built. These are made of wood, not particle board. The installer is a cabinet maker and he was very impressed with how well packaged these came. Even while they were packaged very well, the center drawer’s face has a split in it. Beautiful vanity!!! 2 NEGATIVES: 1. the lights on the mirror aren’t very strong. Luckily where I moved it to has great natural light. 2. There are two cords for this vanity. One for the actual vanity and one for the mirror. I don’t feel like the photos accurately showed how the cord to the mirror looked. It is very visible and I feel like it should have had a slot to put the cord through the vanity. Maybe they did this so if you don’t want to use the mirror you could convert it to a desk or something but I had to wrap the cord for it to look better and prevent my cat from chewing. I didn’t lower my rating because this is One of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made. It really elevates the room. I love putting on my makeup at it. This vanity is very nice. There are some issues with sizing on website says 96 inch but really 93 inches. Also the ceramic countertops are not white they are beige/gray hue. The vanity is made of wood. All other items are great. I have reported these two issues to high up staff who are fixing the website items and possible change countertops to white as per description on site. Wayfair has been outstanding to me and without asking they refunded me $1220.00 for my issues with a blink of an eye. They will update the site shortly.
