I love that this bookshelf shipped in one box. It was heavy! It took me and my partner about 3 hours to assemble. All the instructions were not clear but we managed to get it done. Shelf seems pretty sturdy! It is also pretty tall so measure first. I have high ceilings and still have about 2 - 3 feet to the ceiling after placing my monitor on top. I wouldn’t say it is heavy duty made of the similar material from the 30 shelf I replaced. I love how it fits perfectly in the corner of my bedroom. There is plenty of storage space. The shelf comes with black tabs that you are supposed to use to cover the screws…. They don’t stick well and they are already starting to peel up. First problem was that a couple of the pieces were broken upon arrival. However, customer service was super responsive and shipped us new parts within a week. Next, the instructions are very confusing, especially if you wish to assemble this table with the long side facing left. However, after all is said and done, the table looks great and the quality is superb once all of the pieces are put together correctly. Setup was done by 2 people at most times, as mentioned, there were points of confusion. When the pieces were found to be broken, we couldnt resume until the pieces were shipped to us, which had been quick. After having this nook for a month, it works really well - we use it everyday for breakfast, and dinner. The cushions are comfy enough for eating, and the bench is a nice addition for when there is not enough room on the main bench. You can fit about 4-5 people with this nook, depending on how big people are. One thing that I wish was a bit better was the sturdiness of the table, as it can move if you push it a tiny bit. The table was well packaged & arrived without any damage to the box. That said, there are two spots where the wood is chipped but not visible since under the table. The table top has a hairline crack about 6" long. One of the table legs is wobbly due to the hole for the screw was not drilled properly.
