The instructions have you completely build the top before the bottom, which in this case meant not only was I working around it but it had to stand it on the cam lock connectors- recommend doing the bottom part first.. Nice unit but the color I wanted out of stock for a long time. If I had space it would have gone together quickly, however I was working in a closet in a limited corner. Most of the assy if form the back side against the wall.. I was working with about 14" of space, most of the time I had to climb under the bottom panels on the back. after completing I noticed one problem the close do not fit on the bottom rail. Top portion from top of pole to shelf 40" For the bottom portion to the bottom shelf 29", even pants require more space for hanging. Understand I may be able to buy special hangers.. Charles.
