I'm really happy with these stair carpets- it was hard to find ones with the correct dimensions for my staircase which has pretty thick edging, and in the color that matches my painted stairs and is textured. I was worried they weren't going to be soft/cushioned enough, but the cross texture feels comfortable on my feet and adds that extra traction I was looking for. All around a great purchase! *Some things to note- it was hard to peel the thin plastic off the back, so just take your time with it, and make sure the Velcro truly lines up with the carpet edge or it will look crooked and not stick right. They are not a neutral, but our staircase is enclosed from other rooms. The treads moved with our dog, so we are going to reinforce them more. He is 160 lb klutz so it is not all on the treads.
