This is definitely a two-person job! Especially if you are vertically challenged. If you get the base too (which I did) be sure you have placed it where you want it before filling it with sand (speaking from experience). I bought this to help shade my artificial turf during the hot Arizona summer. It works well and provides a nice, shaded spot during the day. You do want to make sure that you collapse it during the night and anytime there is inclement weather.. Jennifer. Hepzibah, WV. Tue Jul 21 2026

Huge, and very stable for being so large. Several options to rotate. Only thing is, everything you do with the umbrella is done by one crank. With the umbrella being so big, its very heavy and that cranking motion does a job on your shoulders and arms. But its beautiful, sturdy and easy to operate. The light inside easy to operate also. I had it professionally assembled. Make sure you have a very heavy duty base for it too. It is water resistant and has been good through a couple of pretty strong windstorm weve had....just make sure to close it at the 1st sign of a wind or thunder storm. So far, I highly recommend.. Annette. Rochester, NY. Thu Jul 02 2026

This is a monster! Great coverage of our ten seater dining table , love the 360 and the tilt mode. It took three adults to put it together it is massive and is a bit tricky , maybe finicky when opening it but once it is open it’s fantastic and provides excellent shade. Make note the base needs to have weight added to it I think the minimum is 660 lbs! We used landscape fabric and some rubber weight plates then covered with rocks and then black river rock . That definitely adds quite a bit to the expense.. Suzanne. Los Ángeles. Fri Jul 10 2026
