Love this shoe bench. Perfect size for the area I bought it for, the walk through from the garage into the house. Shoes were always left on the floor to trip over and now they can fit neatly in the shoe cubby holes. My husband's size 13 shoes also fit. Love it and highly recommend this product. I was able to put it together myself, but it was frustrating at times. Many of the holes aren’t drilled properly, making it hard to screw in things. The two doors for the larger part aren’t close enough, so you can see a space. The thing to lift up the cushion was especially difficult to screw in. Great minimal look and feels nice and sturdy to sit on. Put it together by myself with very little fuss. One quibble is that the shelves are too low to fit ankle boots (like Chelsea boots or Doc Martens), but I guess that's the tradeoff of having an additional shelf instead of one taller space. I took forever to assemble this so my review is late but I wanted to review based on both. I bought this cabinet to hide our shoes instead of having to look at a pile of shoes by the front door in the entryway. I am very pleased with the look of the cabinet. It was not hard to put together until I got to the doors. They are a little off on the one side, and even though you are given some play in the hardware, I think the one door is just a little off. So, I was a bit disappointed in that, but after working at it for a while, I got it pretty close to even. So, I'm still giving it 5 stars, because it really serves the purpose I bought it for and looks nice. Directions were clear, all parts were labeled well, and the cabinet was packed well.. Donna.
