I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the 84” Birch Tree in Pot. It was packaged somewhat carefully and only had 3 limbs to slip into place. Fluff the limbs annd branches out just a bit before putting into place on the tree trunk and it’ll save you some time. The leaves were realistic, though some had become crinkled, apparently when they were slipped into their separate bags for shipping, but just a little patience in turning them into shape seemed to work. As a designer, I have ordered this tree multiple times for different projects, and I love it every time! My only complaint is that the times I have ordered it, the black fake dirt in the top of the pot has come in cracked every time, but Wayfair is very quick to either replace or discount it to make up for it. Their customer service is amazing! I still love this tree, and I put it in my own pot and put rocks around the bottom so it doesn’t tip, anyway. I love the coloring of the leaves of this tree! It’s fun that it lights up when you want it – my only hesitation is that the tree base is wrapped in a brown paper and does not look very real at all. I wish it was a more molded plastic tree base, but it will still work in my project. I do like the height of it and the variation between the maroon and pumpkinorange coloring is really pretty if you don’t want to use a typical green tree. It has wonderful height and fullness and adds exactly the greenery and scale I was looking for in this corner of the room. The branches and leaves have a very natural look, and I especially like that the different stems give it a more organic shape rather than looking perfectly uniform. I am still working on arranging and shaping the branches, so I do not think I have even gotten it looking its best yet. The more I work with it and adjust the individual branches, the better and more natural it looks. I think it will continue to improve as I spend a little more time messing with it. I also purchased the planter from Wayfair, and I think the two look fantastic together. The oversized textured planter gives the tree a much more substantial, finished appearance and really elevates the overall look. Even before I have finished shaping it, I am very happy with this purchase. It fills the space beautifully, has great presence, and looks surprisingly realistic. Definitely five stars!. Elizabeth.
