9 Foot Wood Colonial Porch Columns

Beautiful, sturdy lamp post. I bought this to replace a broken one we had but unfortunately the base holes did not match up perfectly with our current base. We were able to make some adjustments to the holes with a drill and get it to fit. It is beautiful and would recommend.. Maria. PA. Thu Sep 07 2017

I bought this pedestal for my pet peacock. It’s pretty lightweight, so depending on what you use it for, it might need some kind of anchor at the bottom but it worked great for what I needed.(after putting some sand bags around the bottom). Anonymous. Fri May 15 2026

Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing. I wanted to leave a detailed review because I couldnt find a detailed review when I decided to purchase these columns.. Mia. Redford, MI. Fri Jan 20 2023
