Actual palms are notoriously difficult to keep alive. I went through 2 of them before finally deciding to go artificial—one of the best decisions regarding houseplants, especially here in Seattle where there’s limited sunlight a lot of the year. I really like the plant....I wasn't thrilled about the way the tops go into the stems.....so I got two part epoxy and permanently bonded the tops and bottoms together as I have them outside and live near the water. This outdoor palm tree looks great on our patio and was exactly what we needed for the space. It does not look quite as realistic as the indoor ficus tree we previously purchased from Wayfair, but that was expected since this one is designed for outdoor use. For an exterior setting, it still looks very nice and adds a tropical feel to the area. The size was accurate, setup was simple, and the materials seem durable enough to handle outdoor conditions. Once arranged and fluffed out, it filled the corner space perfectly and added a relaxing resort-style touch to our deck area. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase. delivery was a nightmare two days of multiple calls to Wayfair to FedEx back to Wayfair back to FedEx. Everybody was lovely said they finished in the hat help me and then the next person would call and say no they didn’t do it right and they can’t do it now. I will do it. Déjà vu every call. Wasted two days waiting for a delivery that should be simple. Package came, and it was completely falling apart at the bottom of the box. The two round pots that the trees are in were both clamming and flattened on one side, so they look terrible. Not useful to me as they were supposed to match other others and now they don’t.
