We enjoyed the final result but the shed was challenging to put together. Sometimes these instructions nowadays are difficult to read. A big problem was that there were very few pilot holes drilled and the "wood" didn't like to accept the screws that were rather large. Here is my review of the Patiowell 8x8 Resin Storage Shed. First, Wayfair made the entire purchasing process seamless. Their website was easy to navigate, customer service was professional, and the FedEx deliveries (which arrived in two separate shipments) were handled quickly and efficiently. The shed arrived in five large boxes, and the FedEx delivery driver handled everything with care by placing the boxes neatly in the driveway. I was impressed with the thoughtful packaging. The components were securely protected with layers of Styrofoam, cardboard, and plastic straps to prevent damage during shipping. The shed itself feels sturdy, durable, and solid. Once all of the parts were organized, the instructions became easy to follow during construction. This project definitely requires two people, as many sections need to be assembled on the ground and then lifted into place. Once the base floor is completed, the rest of the build flows together step-by-step, including the walls, frame, roof, and doors. For tools and preparation, I highly recommend having a cordless drill, painter’s tape, extra bolts, and caulking for sealing the seams. Overall, assembling the shed was challenging and took about six hours to complete. Patience, organization, and a few extra supplies are essential for a smooth installation. Wayfair contracted the assembly out to Angi and when they sent the first “professional”, he tried doing it by himself and completely damaged the shed. When I called Wayfair, they sent replacement parts and the parts never showed up (they shipped them to the wrong address). Wayfair then sent a replacement shed, but I had to take down the old one (as they said they don’t do demo work). Angi finally sent two new techs to perform the install of the new shed and it went better. However, from when I ordered the shed to when the second one got installed, it was over a month.. Nicholas. It is pretty good value for the price I’m happy enough with the delivery and quality of the product I think the directions could be a little bit more clear as to the steps in the process and have the pictures are angled i.e. Label this is the front or the back or the side. This thing rocks. It shipps in 2 boxes (one is 100lbs). It shipped quick (3 days) and arrived on time. Produce wise, it was packed better than things that are 3x the cost. Between the box and the material was 1/2" of foam AND 1/4" of wood. There were also 1/8" corner guards. The instructions could be better in some cases, but nothing worse than any other product.
