Great set. Firm but comfortable. Very easy to assemble - it all uses the same Allen wrench bit, so I used my Allen wrench drill bit and the chairs took about 15 minutes each to put together. Use your drill, if you do it by hand you’ll spend hours. You can buy the Allen wrench drill bits at the hardware store. All the screw holes lined up and it feels very sturdy. The cushions are firm. This is definitely a nice set. The star of the show is the wicker. It’s pretty of course but also very nice quality with a nice pliability. It doesn’t look or feel cheap and plastic-y like some wicker (real and fake). 2 minor points that made me take off a star the first is that the back cushions, while comfortable, fall downblow away with high wind... a bit more so than other sets I’ve had. I may try to find a solution with either sewing or Velcro or something like that. The second point, and I more or less knew this going into the purchase, is that the backs are low. We’re all fairly small, and it’s still quite comfortable. Lots of seating! I would have given this 5 stars, but I was very disappointed in the color of the cushions. I ordered “beige” cushions, but they are a VERY light cream, almost a butter yellow. Also, it took quite a while to assemble - several hours a day for a few days. One box had the hardware not labeled correctly, so that added to the assembly time. Unfortunately, this purchase has been a major disappointment and, in hindsight, a mistake. The seat cushions are sturdy and well made, but the lumbar cushions are a completely different story. We gave them several days to expand and recover, hoping they would improve, but unfortunately they never did. The lumbar cushions appear to be made with lower-quality materials, with loose threads and a noticeable difference in craftsmanship compared to the base cushions. Our second mistake was accepting a discount because of the quality concerns, thinking we could simply replace the cushions ourselves. We quickly learned that replacement sectional cushions can cost anywhere from 400–700, making that solution far more expensive than expected. We are sharing this review in hopes of saving someone else the frustration, wasted time, and additional expense.
