Great set. Firm but comfortable. Very easy to assemble - it all uses the same Allen wrench bit, so I used my Allen wrench drill bit and the chairs took about 15 minutes each to put together. Use your drill, if you do it by hand you’ll spend hours. You can buy the Allen wrench drill bits at the hardware store. All the screw holes lined up and it feels very sturdy. The cushions are firm. Unfortunately, this purchase has been a major disappointment and, in hindsight, a mistake. The seat cushions are sturdy and well made, but the lumbar cushions are a completely different story. We gave them several days to expand and recover, hoping they would improve, but unfortunately they never did. The lumbar cushions appear to be made with lower-quality materials, with loose threads and a noticeable difference in craftsmanship compared to the base cushions. Our second mistake was accepting a discount because of the quality concerns, thinking we could simply replace the cushions ourselves. One piece came with misaligned holes so couldn’t be put together but the rest of it was quite easy to assemble alone.
