Sturdy but there seems to be millions of parts, screws and nuts with not great instructions. I put together but myself but would of been easier with 2 people. Quality looks good but will need to use zip ties eventually to replace the ties for the roof. Very disappointed that it went on sale right after I purchased and Wayfair does not refund difference.. It definitely is a two person job. We put it together on a paved area before moving it to the grass. It’s sturdy and my favorite part is the door latches my second favorite part is that the roof covers down the sides. Everything seems very durable and we even had a storm blow through today and there were no issues plus my chickens love it.. M Sembera. Mon Sep 14 2026

Frame was perfect, but the chain link came so messed up and bent. I’ll add a photo of one of the areas. Took us about 4 hours to work through all of it and straighten everything out. Thankfully we were able to secure it enough still and I think it will be a fine kennel but won’t be purchasing anything else like this from here.. Chance. Alma, AR. Mon Apr 20 2026

Instructions were very easy to follow. I love this idea and it fits perfectly for where we needed it. I question the durability though. I also am not a fan of the fencing used. It tears easily as it’s not hardware cloth. Any predator could easily get through this. We do plan to reinforce it soon, as winter approaches. If we didn’t have a fully fenced in yard, I would immediately reinforce the fencing. We have 12 chickens right now and they have plenty of space.. Ashley. NY. Wed Sep 02 2026

Reinforced anchoring and additional waterproof covers are ideal for long-term outdoor service.

I can’t rate it for outside, as I am using it for a large indoor kennel for my two small dogs. One of them is an escape artist and I am happy to say with the height and cover he can’t climb up and out. It was easy tool free assembly and is nice and solid. Personally, I’d rather not have the extra little door at the bottom as I don’t use it and think the door might be a bit more solid without it.. Edythe. US. Sat Sep 06 2025

Is your dog going through your wrought iron, aluminum, or wood fence? We have a simple solution without using an unsightly barrier or unnecessary shock collars. These types of fences were not designed with smaller dogs in mind. With the Dog Proofer fence barrier kit, you can quickly and easily create a long-lasting barrier around your fence. Made of black powder-coated galvanized heavy gauge wire the barrier tends to work well for smaller dogs with limited jumping ability. The welded wire squares are 1.75" x 1.75" so your dog cannot get through it, but so that you and your pet can easily see through it. The welded wire can also be trimmed to accommodate certain heights or to work around obstructions in the fence line. This quick fix for your dog getting through your fence is installed easily with only a pair of heavy-duty snips aviation snips/tin snips and fasteners appropriate for your fence type see more about that below.

Pretty good enclosure for our dogs don’t have the roof on due to weather we have had but it also is pretty good quality. I will be interested to see how this holds up when we have to move and then have to rebuild it again.
