What a nice product offered by Wayfair. I would have never imagined that Wayfair would offer a carport. This one was so easy to assemble. The cover is heavy duty and seems like it will stand up to the weather where we live. There are sides that we opted not to put on so the car would fit easier and we would have more room to get in and out. It’s nice that the sides are optional. Only took about 2 hours to get the carport up and usable. If we decide to add the sides on, it looks like an easy task just like the main section. Be advised The box is really heavy and should be carried by at least 2 people. Great product Wayfair.. Melissa. Lenoir, NC. Mon Feb 10 2025

This a great awning at this price point, even my electrician son was impressed as he he was expecting troubles. To be fair, it is not easy to install. It took three adult men on ladders to put it up and a great deal of finagling before that. Also, the motor came preassembled so we had no choice about which side it was on which meant extension cords.. Karla. Stafford Springs, CT. Sat Jun 27 2026

Built with a sleek black frame, this modern design shows less dirt and debris than more common white frames. The fabric offers up to 119 square feet of coverage depending on the chosen size and is made from 100% polyester to best protect you from the elements and keep the inside of your home cool on hot days. Included is a simple hand crank that opens or closes the awning within a minute, and requires no electricity. Assembly is required. One-Year Warranty included.

I absolutely love this awning. It’s exactly what I was looking for. It is very well priced and looks very pretty. Sorry for the delayed review, but I did need to hire someone to install it. The assembly and install were a little challenging, even for a master electrician. It wasn't the level of difficulty but rather very vague instructions and more than one incorrect picture. However, we prevailed. Warning: DO NOT remove the tape and zip ties from the arms of the hardware. They are spring-loaded and should not be released until the awning has been hung. Otherwise, it'll be like trying to put a cat in a bucket of water. (we were smart about this) To assemble, have a helper on standby to pull the awning through the roller channel while someone else pushes it. A kid can help with this part. One person can assemble the main hardware. To install the brackets to the home, one person is fine as long as they have the correct drill bits and measure correctly. The brackets are great quality; however, they may not sit flush and level to the wall. We placed 2x2 blocks of wood behind each bracket to fill the empty space and make the install strong and level. To install the awning, you'll want a strong teen or adult to assist. They will need to hold one side of the awning and the hardware while standing on a ladder, as both people insert the hardware into the brackets on the structure.. Anonymous. Fri Aug 28 2026

I always wanted one of these. It’s sturdier than I thought which is great. It came in two different boxes. Well packed. It gave a list of items in each box to make sure everything was which is great. It came together very easily. I would recommend four people, especially when you are lifting and putting on the bottom parts of the legs and putting it into place you really need four people. I wish there was a sixth pole in the middle like the front in the back to help support that back half which being attached to the house it doesn’t really matter, but we’re not attaching it ours to our house, we’re gonna put some extra support beams on each side and going across to support and raise it up into place where we wanted to go and that should give it some extra support, but overall it came together very easily. It says don’t tighten up the screws totally which please listen to directions and then go back and tighten after things are together. It works so much better. I love this. It’s gonna be great for the dog when it rains or a hot night. We could sit out here and still enjoy our porch. I would definitely recommend this patio cover gazebo.. Tammy. Midland, MI. Turned out nice. Had this professionally installed and mounted the post in concrete blocks to give more stability. The metal pieces itself is lightweight aluminum but when connected together it’s sturdy. Only gripe are the shade connector poles. Their means of connecting could be improved because they slide off & disconnect from one another every now & then but so far holds up well with rain when shade is pulled back. Haven’t experienced any serious windy conditions yet to speak on so we’ll see. So far overall all good.. Bryant. Miami, FL. Thu Jun 01 2023

UPDATE: August 24th 2026: The tarp was damaged due to heavy rain and I tried for two weeks to work with this company, the manufacturer, and the insurance with no appropriate resolution. This incident made me aware of how scamish and fraudulent these insurance companies are. The representatives were rude and in the end just refunded me for the policy - horrible service! Wayfair kept rerouting me to the insurance without seeming to understand what I was trying to explain. I will now seriously reconsider purchasing anything here in the future - BE AWARE AND CAUTIOUS WHEN PURCHASING ITEMS Good quality and has been withstanding extreme cold and wind so far.
