Good looking knife set! I ordered this set to prepare for our kitchen remodel. The color is a warm, off-white. I thought the wood block would be lighter, more of a white wash but it has a richer golden color. There's a little weight to the knife blades which is nice. I'm not sure what I was expecting but the handles are hard plastic which makes them feel less than high end. Love the pan, love the handle better than the other handles. So easy to take on & off.
