These turned out beautifully but I severely underestimated the amount of time it would take to get them to this point. I struggled to get these to stain as dark as I wanted. I tried just staining them at first and then had to go back and sand them down to get them to stain darker. This sliding door set really helped open up the storage and laundry space in the basement, allowing access to items that used to be in enclosed quarters. It arrived with 2 broken doors and while Wayfair was great with their customer service, the company sent a whole new set of doors and hardware which seems a little wasteful. These doors are very pretty! In all honesty, it took me months to get them fully installed. The directions were minimal to say the least, but I did find my way. Really solid door, paint finish is amazing, but it is not really very printable. It would need to be scuffed up well to take any paint, so when one side accidentally had trim applied to it and there were tiny nail holes after we removed the trim strip the painters were concerned about painting the whole door because the finish wouldn't be as good if they had to prep the whole door and eventually the paint-over could fail vs if we just kept most of the door untouched and just painted the one style to cover the small nail holes.
