Sturdy and large enough to hold nearly anything. I use toaster ovens often, rather than turning on the big oven. It saves electricity and you can keep an eye on what's warming. I don't microwave very much because it changes the texture of food. Only a few things survive microwaving.. Taimi Gorman. Bellingham, WA. Thu Jul 16 2026

With the Hamilton Beach® Electric Indoor Searing Grill, there’s no need to fire up an outdoor grill to get great grilled flavor. The indoor grill features a high searing temperature of 450°F that locks in juices and flavor and makes everything you sear — steak, burgers, fish, chicken and pork chops — taste delicious. Best of all, food won't stick to the grill plate since it has a nonstick surface. The electric searing grill is easy to use so you can grill with confidence. To sear food, simply plug it in and turn the temperature dial all the way up to sear. When the indoor grill reaches 450°F, the green indicator light will glow. When you want to use a lower grilling temperature or grill small pieces of food, the searing grill has adjustable temperature control and a special grilling section on the right for small portions. The removable grill plate has a PFAS-free nonstick surface. The grill plate, extra-large drip tray and removable cover all go in the dishwasher for easy cleanup.

At first, I wasn't sure about this. It's lightweight, aside from the removable grill itself - light plastic and metal. But it works quite well! So far I've made chicken and veggie kebabs, and skewered shrimp on it. Set on sear, and the grill marks are great! Good value for the money.. Annette. Mountain Lakes, NJ. Thu Aug 13 2026
