This bed is AWESOME! My 9yo daughter loves it and so does her 11yo brother. She’s tall for her age and our ceilings are on the low side (house built in 1982), but she’s able to be comfortable when she’s in her bed without issue. I wanted to find something to maximize her small bedroom and allow flexibility. Right now she has a little sofa under it, but as she grows, we’ll be able to rearrange the space into something different! She went from hating her room to loving it. It did have a small flaw on the white pieces, but it was small enough to not worry about, considering what the kids will put it through. Cannot recommend this bed enough. We bought this for our 7-year-old daughter, and so far it’s been great. I’m giving it four stars because it’s not perfect. I’m not entirely sure what “noise free” in the title is referring to, since it does make some noise — which is understandable — but it’s not completely silent. That said, I would still recommend it. The height is ideal — not overly tall like the one we purchased from another site for our 11-year-old son. This one allows me to stand relatively close to my daughter while she’s lying down, and it’s not so close to the ceiling that she can’t sit up without hitting her head (we have 9ish-foot ceilings). This loft bed was exactly what we were looking for. My husband put it together in 3 hours; pretty simple instructions. One thing I wanted to note!: This bed can be built with the stairs on EITHER SIDE. We were so confused looking at the photos trying to figure out which side the stairs were on, but it comes with two sets of instructions, one for each side, so that worked out perfectly. We added some support to the wall because it does shake a bit if you're up on the bed. You do need to get a 6 inch mattress or else the safety bars won't reach above the mattress. Nice bed. I just took me 6 hours to put together by myself. Instructions were good. Could’ve been more detailed. And the labeling on each of the pieces were hit or miss.
