I got two of these and they are perfect. My father made some kind of extended anti-tipping wall anchors since I wanted the shelves on a wall with a baseboard heater so they were a bit far from the wall for the anchors they come with. I included photos. Please ignore my empty photo frames. I needed to stage the shelves so I'll know exactly how it all fits. The shelves are a beautiful color and exactly what I was looking for. We are enjoying our bookcase. The light color fits in just fine with the other colors of bookcases. It was pretty easy to put together. Well, this is exactly what I wanted. I'm very disappointed in the woodgrain "look", and the fact that some of it was peeling off the particle board as I was trying to put it together. Also, the directions are extremely poor! They don't show front/back, or any of that. IT was very confusing and difficult to put together. It has "a b c d e f g", et cetera on all of the pieces listed in the catalog, but the only things that were marked on the items to put together was a and b. Very disappointing! In decorating my psychotherapy office space I was looking for a very large imposing bookshelf because the space itself is 18' x 15' with ceilings that are over 12 feet tall. And so this item seemed perfect and was far less than the $2000-$3000 items I was able to find elsewhere. Who has that sorta money lol. Note, this took quite some time for my spouse and I to put together and in the future I'd just hired Taskrabbit for 50 bucks to do it. The book self is absolutely beautiful!!! I️ have received many compliments from friends and family. It includes special led lights that look amazing. My only feedback is that the very top arch does not have any lights, so maybe in the future they could add a little spotlight. Other than that it is great.
