I just love this little pot! The color I bought, Shallot, is like a soft pink/lavender color, and the weight of this pan is heavy, but still easily maneuverable on the stovetop. I love that I can cook something on the stovetop and put this saucepan in the oven to keep my dish warm. Great for gravies, heating small bowls of soup, small batch berry pie filling, boiling water for small portions of dumplings, stuffing, rice, or whatever small dishes you'd need a saucepan for. Great pots and pans for the price never know what to buy anymore but this set I have purchased several times, they last several years with 4 hungry boys that torture them, dropping them using metal utensils cutting steaks in the pan with a sharp knife and the pans still keep on cooking….end of buying new set every 3-4 years not from the pans failure but from the kids torturing them and even then it’s just a skillet or 2 not the whole set… now we have lots of great pans…use them every day!!!.
