I just love this little pot! The color I bought, Shallot, is like a soft pink/lavender color, and the weight of this pan is heavy, but still easily maneuverable on the stovetop. The rectangular shape of this pan was inspired by the Japanese makiyakinabe pans that are used for rolled omelets called tamagoyaki. The rectangular omelet can be filled and rolled evenly and then cut into slices with an identical diameter.
