They are kind of ‘rugged’ — I was hoping for a little more elegance but really good product for the price if the look works for you. I’ve been looking for some type of natural wood blinds for a while. Most are priced too high for my project. These are sturdy, the raise/lower mechanism works great at this point and they provide good privacy — you can’t see through them which a lot of the other more affordable options do not provide..
