I search for a while for a bed frame that would fit in my sunroom and work with my hide a bed mattress. The hide a bed couch was old but mattress is fairly new. For the last part that is not in the video for assembling this frame, I just followed the included assembly instructions manual. I just got this and put it together so I can’t speak on durability yet but it arrived undamaged and is exactly what I was looking for. It’s pretty easy to use and feels sturdy. I got the cherry finish and it perfectly matches my other furniture in the room. As others mentioned the directions and labels aren’t completely accuratethe easiest but I just checked the set up video online whenever I got a little hung up. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area.
