10x20 pergola..comes in 4 boxes and ecah box 177lbs. Use doly to pit in back yard..opem the 1st and 2nd boxes...start with those make the base then open boxes 3 and 4 and put plastic end caps on metal ceiling shutters. Make sure you are putting them the correct way or else you will work twice. They should all face the same way and side just like the 1st and 2nd ones thst are controlled with the arm. Level your pergola and tape around the base foot, before you add the ceiling panels. Looks at alot of videos and put some moving blankets on floor to put panels on. You need 3 people minimum to lift the base together to insert the sides together. Seems sturdy and opens and closes nicely...looks great...adds shade and character to the yard.. Francisca. US. Turned out nice. Had this professionally installed and mounted the post in concrete blocks to give more stability. The metal pieces itself is lightweight aluminum but when connected together it’s sturdy. Only gripe are the shade connector poles. Their means of connecting could be improved because they slide off & disconnect from one another every now & then but so far holds up well with rain when shade is pulled back. Haven’t experienced any serious windy conditions yet to speak on so we’ll see. So far overall all good.. Bryant. Miami, FL. Wed May 31 2023

This pergola is a modern addition that looks sharp attached to my old house. I would have given it five stars. However, it required three professionals and took them four hours to install. Also, the thin material doesnt block out the heat. If finances were allowed, I would have chosen a pergola with gutter and insulation options. Otherwise, I like it.. Anonymous. Sun Aug 04 2024
