The 10 ft. W X 8 ft. D Avondale Storage Shed from Handy Home products is a great solution for your backyard storage needs! Extra-wide double doors measure 54" wide. The doors are pre-assembled and pre-hung and comes with complete system. The shed doors come with a durable, rust-resistant swivel hasp and galvanized steel hinges. Hinges are continuous from top to bottom to prevent sagging. Smartside siding is treated to prevent fungal decay and insect infestation.

The exterior walls are so thin that I would never recommend stapling a vapor barrier on the interior because the Staples come through on the outside even if they are very short. The frame beams are twisted and crooked, overall it is a poor quality kit. The instructions are easy, however the quality of the wood is very poor. I thought I was getting a good deal but I was not.. We enjoyed the final result but the shed was challenging to put together. Sometimes these instructions nowadays are difficult to read. A big problem was that there were very few pilot holes drilled and the "wood" didn't like to accept the screws that were rather large. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the instructions were pretty clear. I put mine on top of of a concrete pad. Also did a row of cinder blocks, which required a little customizing where the door fit in the wall. It took a day to assemble. I hired the crew from Handy via Wayfair. I bought the sheet shingles for the roofing since it doesn’t come with the kit and they were able to place it. Great project to build if you’re handy. All the wood was in good shape. I suppose 2x4s could have been a bit better. Wish the floor was pressure treated and a bit more supported by some extra joists. Roofing paper was insufficient as well. Came with 2 sheets of tar paper so there was a seem that leaked. Had to patch it already. The shed is fine (although note it will take you 8+ hours to pull all the plastic wrapping off the pieces when you get it!!!). However, we had a bunch of issues with the installers. Wayfair contracted the assembly out to Angi and when they sent the first “professional”, he tried doing it by himself and completely damaged the shed. When I called Wayfair, they sent replacement parts and the parts never showed up (they shipped them to the wrong address). Wayfair then sent a replacement shed, but I had to take down the old one (as they said they don’t do demo work). Angi finally sent two new techs to perform the install of the new shed and it went better. However, from when I ordered the shed to when the second one got installed, it was over a month.. Nicholas. Well the shed is great but the team sent out to install it were not even familiar with how to put together a shed. They said that they don't even get told what they're going to build just to bring tools and show up somewhere. I was very disappointed. They didn't even get to finish that day but I didn't want them to come back because they wouldn't be paid to come back an extra day.
