We worship total environmental energy. The umbrella equipped with a solar panel will be supplemented by solar energy for about 6 hours, and you will enjoy 6-8 hours of light in the umbrella after a light turning on the switch at night. This solar panel requires no complicated installation steps, just one person without any tools to connect the wires.

This umbrella looks really nice. I did have to order the weighted bases that fit in the X brace. But the overall price was great. We wanted an alternative to installing an awning, and this umbrella fits the bill. We've had it for a couple weeks and so far we love it. It's easy to raise, lower, tilt, and swivel. Putting it together was pretty simple, but definitely requires two people so one can hold the umbrella/pole in place. Don't attach the feet if you're going to use a base because you attach it directly to the base instead. (We bought the Madeley Plastic Free Standing Umbrella Base, which uses water or sand. It does not come with a base, just criss-cross feet.) The pole and supports are stout. The umbrella does creak and move around a bit when it's windy, which I expected because physics. ;-) The material does a nice job of blocking the sun, and I love the teal color.. Gmh. We ordered this umbrella to cover our patio living room table and chairs on our pool deck. This worked perfectly. Some tips for set up. Put the cross base together with the pole for the cantilever and put it in place. Then fill the weights with sand...about 75 lbs in each section of the base. Place the weights on your base, then fill each weight with water. Use a large gas funnel to fill the sand. And by the way...this umbrella goes up and down super easy and I am not super strong.. It’s extremely durable and very heavy, which makes it feel sturdy and secure. One thing that isn’t obvious in the product images is that the base is also massive. As you can see in my photos, it has a large footprint, so you’ll want to plan your layout accordingly. That said, the quality is excellent. At the 300 price point, you truly get what you pay for. This was a replacement for our original adjustable cantilever umbrella that broke within 2 months (and was not returnable or refundable). In spite of that bad experience, I decided to try again but went with a non-adjustable one this time This one can be raised or lowered and thats it. So it has far fewer moving parts that can break. Works perfectly and was super easy to setup - although quite heavy, so I suggest being 2 people for the initial setup. Also, note that it requires a sturdy base - sold separately, which is the main reason I still bought from this manufacturer a 2nd time since I already had the base from the first umbrella that broke.. Love this umbrella! Easy to put together. Just be sure to order a base because it doesn’t come with one. My only complaint is that the Wayfair description online said it included a cover for the umbrella. The instructions that came with the umbrella said you need to buy your own cover. I absolutely love this cantilevered umbrella and give it 5 stars! It has been such a great addition to my pool area and is exactly what I was looking for.
