We ordered this umbrella to cover our patio living room table and chairs on our pool deck. This worked perfectly. Some tips for set up. Put the cross base together with the pole for the cantilever and put it in place. Then fill the weights with sand...about 75 lbs in each section of the base. Place the weights on your base, then fill each weight with water. Use a large gas funnel to fill the sand. And by the way...this umbrella goes up and down super easy and I am not super strong.. We ordered this umbrella to provide shade over a portion of our above-ground pool so we'd have a place to get relief from the strong Florida sun. It provides plenty of coverage without shading the entire pool, which is exactly what we wanted. The umbrella was straightforward to set up and feels sturdy once assembled. The canopy provides excellent shade, and the ability to adjust the position helps keep the shaded area where you need it throughout the day. We've also been impressed with how well it handles wind. We've had some pretty strong gusts here in Florida recently and kept a close eye on it. It stayed firmly in place and never felt unstable. We've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far we're very happy with it. If you're looking for a large poolside umbrella that provides excellent shade and feels well built, this has been a great addition to our backyard.. Cindy. Florida. Tue Jun 23 2026

Love this umbrella! Easy to put together. Just be sure to order a base because it doesn’t come with one. My only complaint is that the Wayfair description online said it included a cover for the umbrella. The instructions that came with the umbrella said you need to buy your own cover. Makes no sense to me. Should come with it’s own cover. I think I’m stuck. Not sure how to order a cover that will fit.. Debra. US. Sat Jun 28 2025

Ok - I was so nervous making this purchase and studied every single umbrella - then a few days before the 4th I bit the bullet and ordered it! Delivered in 2 days in 2 boxes - this is absolutely THE BEST purchase I have made on Wayfair (and I am a designer - and have ordered over 100,000 for projects in the past few years) Don’t hesitate- this is a top of the line product - I love it so much I ordered a second one immediately. DO buy the protection plan and also spend 24 on an umbrella cover - the cover (I have 4 - 2 for the large cantilever and the same 2 for m6 smaller umbrellas. This keeps them rain protected, clean and no sun fading ! I really can’t say enough I love this product - I wish I had better photos - the stand is awesome, the whole umbrella swings very easily using a foot peddle - just buy it !. Sherry. Pawcatuck, CT.
