The rug arrived very quickly and as represented in the vibrant burgundy/red, gold and navy blue. It looks great in our living room and matches the floor and my burgundy chair. There is a slight chemical smell that has started to fade after day one. I’m rating 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of the creases due to shipment in a box. Beautiful design, so I'll keep it, but sad that it's not the lovely pale blue color as shown in any of the pictures on the website. If I had been shopping for that exact color, I would have been much more disappointed. This rug has more of a brownish blue in the background than the pale blue. I'm hoping it will fade over time. With that said, this rug is much more plush and thick than I expected for the price; the dogs love it! It's a great quality piece with an exquisite design that's perfect for drawing the eye to not only the rug, but the flooring around it, which was my goal for this space. I would definitely repurchase this rug again, in fact I’m considering looking for a round or oval one if they offer it, for my dining room. This rug is absolutely gorgeous, thick, and offers just the right amount of pattern and design without being overwhelming or busy like so many rugs out there. This rug is perfect. I have several sizes from this exact family - small one, three round ones which I have had for years (8 feet and 6 feet). They hold up and are perfect with a nice pile, great for bare feet and with the colors you don’t really see the dirt. Note - there is some shedding initially but it doesn’t last. The rug arrived very quickly and as represented in the vibrant burgundy/red, gold and navy blue. It looks great in our living room and matches the floor and my burgundy chair. There is a slight chemical smell that has started to fade after day one. I’m rating 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of the creases due to shipment in a box.
