I bought this unit when I became a senior widower, purchasing it for the express purpose of cooking for one. Its 2-quart capacity is perfect for a small houshold and it performs that task beautifully and, like its big brother, is easy to clean with its two-part design. I have two larger units for family visits. Another feature i like is the simple heat control. It doesn't reset or fail during a power bump as seems to be happening with increasing frequency..
