Exactly as I expected. Look these sheds are low cost, so I wasn't looking for something fancy. It does the job and looks decent in the driveway. I am good at putting things like this together, but if you are not one of those people this might be frustrating. There are A LOT of parts. Use a drill instead of the screwdriver that comes with it. It will save you hours. This kit has eleventy-thousand screws. You are going to want to fill the floor grid with gravel or cover it with plywood, so figure that into the cost (plywood is cheap). The product arrives in two long, flat boxes. The packing was sufficient for the most part except for the triangular pieces that are part of the roof. They were dented and scratched, but I didn’t think it was worth my time and trouble to try to have them replaced, so I pounded out the dents with a rubber mallet. The flaws are visible, but not as bad as how they came. Each piece of metal is covered with plastic film that should be removed before assembly, which takes a lot of time and patience, but once removed the metal surfaces are very clean with a good coating. Assembly definitely requires two people and several hours since there are over 300 screws, but once assembled, the structure is very solid. I was impressed with the engineering. All of the screw holes lined up and the instructions/diagrams were easy to follow. I built a wooden deck with 2x6 treated joists and treated plywood for the floor and screwed the base to that. If wayfair continues to carry this shed after my review and seeing the other reviews about this product then that just shows how much they care about having quality products on their site. At first we thought we were missing all the screws. Customer support finally is sending me screws but I bought my own because it takes a full day for them to respond to one questions, another day for them to ask a question. Another day for them to respond. It really is BS. I am aware that we should open everything and seperate all sides to see if anything is missing but once you've opened all 3 large boxes and taken out the items it will cost you $300 plus to box it up and try and ship it back. We were missing over 20. TWENTY pieces. Thankfully we are knowledgable in fabricating and adjusting, but we had to make brackets for the roof. Missing door handles, Missing ALL the plexigas for the two windows and two windows on door. Missing ALL door hinges. Missing the plate that secures the door handle. Missing ALL the upright support on the inside that supports the walls. Some plastic peices that cover the gaps and makes everything uniform looking are MISSING. It is ridiculous that wayfair would continue to carry from this seller. I won't even get on wayfair to purchase anything ever again and i suggest you do the same. Note, I am an engineer, so please take the following comments bearing that in mind. Rankings of each category are 1-5 Stars. 1) Overall quality (5*). The finished product is great. After reading numerous reviews of sheds that are too flimsy and not weather resistant, this one seems well designed, durable (steel) and capable of keeping out light to moderate rain. However since it's made of steel, rust may be an issue in time . 2) Price per Sq. ft. (4.5*). Note: the 8' x 6' dimension is an exterior dimension. The interior is slightly less, however this it typical of this type of shed. Based on other sheds I've seen and read about, not having the same quality, this one matches up nicely. 3) Ease of assembly. (4*). Plan on two people over two days (average). It will require some ladder work, but not a lot. All pieces are light enough to be lifted by one person. Each piece is clearly identified. The instructions match the assembly procedure fairly well (mostly pictorial - good!). At times you really have to study the instructions (pictures) and the pieces involved, otherwise you may error and need to remove / redo a section. Helpful tip: Take all of the parts out, if possible, and inventory them prior to starting assembly. Group parts with similar assembly codes together. Really cute little shed but I didn't realize how small it really is. It's not going to work for what I need (shovels and rake etc) because it's too short but it will work for outdoor blankets and pillows just fine. Easy to assemble and the wood looks really nice. Our house is being built and we can’t get the building put together just yet. However, materials are quite sturdy, metal is very firm. In reviewing the directions, they seem simple enough to follow once we can get it up. Pre-drilled holes, yay! It came in 3 well packed boxes with everything needed to put it together. This shed has been a GAME CHANGER for us. We just needed a small shed to store our small amount of outdoor gear, and this is exactly what we needed!
