After a full raining day, no wather inside and the water flows super easy on the sides. i planed to put a lock but looks strong and secure and the two ventilation windows keep it fresh inside. Only one issue and it was my fault. i loose the two bushings AHO and the two AHP from model 60396 to suport the two doors and now its imposible to get those doors lined up. See picture attached. After a year it is still standing after 2 winters in New England. Snow slides right off no more shoveling the shed roof off. I build a 12x12 deck platform out of 2x6 for this to site on and works great. The took a day with two people. It has held together pretty well. The 1 thing I hate the most is the doors. They really need to re-engineer the doors as they are junk. They slide and move, I think I will need to rebuild this summer and make them more solid. No leads, it holds the ATV and Lawn tractor.. It was a bear to put together, things didn't line up always and so we had to bang them into place. As for it being water tight, fingers crossed, only time will tell. Shed looks great. Instructions and diagrams are so hard to understand. Took 5 days to put floor together, finally. Next came the walls, but once walls were going up, the floor started to buckle. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. Overall this shed is extremely good for the price. The assembly took a good bit for two of us to put it together. The instructions can be a little difficult to understand at times so really pay attention to what the picture shows. The interior is huge! The headroom is great. Can easily stand up straight and have room to spare. The design has the windows caddie corner from each other, but I didn’t want one facing the house and it was simple to cut the notches for the trusses to fit into. If you want a good shed. I really expected the material to be thicker and stronger, which it isnt, but overall Im happy with the product. I was able to organize all my odds and ends well because it has plenty of space. One important thing to keep in mind is that if youre going to put shelves on it, they cant be too tall if youre going to mount it on the walls. I think up to 70 cm is fine. I like this shed for the price point. It is a plastic shed which is why it’s such a great price. Once you get it all assembled, it’s sturdy enough. I definitely would not put anything super heavy in it because the floor is plastic and it’s thinner than I was expecting. Assembling it wasn’t my favorite thing to do but that’s probably because I did it myself mostly. I recommend having a buddy help you. I imagine it would be a breeze with a helper, and to be fair, that’s what it recommends. The instructions were great. There was nothing confusing or misleading. All the parts were labelled. Great shed, just what we needed at a good price. We took our time and assembled it over two and a half days with mostly one person.
