We are so happy with this playhouse! Our daughter is 2 (almost 2.5) and has been absolutely obsessed with it since the day we set it up. The pizza oven and grill are such cute features and honestly what sold us — she loves “cooking” for everyone and serving little pizzas all day long. The working doorbell was also such a fun surprise and adds a really interactive touch that keeps her entertained. There are so many little details that make it feel extra special without being overwhelming. It took a few hours to setup but was overall fairly easy. The doors are pre-assembled and pre-hung and comes with complete system. The shed doors come with a durable, rust-resistant swivel hasp and galvanized steel hinges. Hinges are continuous from top to bottom to prevent sagging. Smartside siding is treated to prevent fungal decay and insect infestation.

The exterior walls are so thin that I would never recommend stapling a vapor barrier on the interior because the Staples come through on the outside even if they are very short. The frame beams are twisted and crooked, overall it is a poor quality kit. The instructions are easy, however the quality of the wood is very poor. I thought I was getting a good deal but I was not.. The playhouse was pretty simple to put together. We opted for a wood house in hopes to keep the temperature lower in summer months. Parts of the roof are beginning to lift as the house has been rained on. It’s an easy fix but that was a prebuilt part which will need attention.
